February 2015 Tabletalk
The February 2015 issue of Tabletalk considers the biblical concepts of labor and rest. God created the world in six days of work and then rested on the seventh, and so from the first chapter of Genesis, God established these concepts by working and resting Himself. The life of man follows this first rhythm established at creation as he alternates between labor and rest. Before the fall, man maintained a perfect balance between the two. However, after the fall, these two aspects of man's life fell into disarray. This issue of Tabletalk will seek to define and explain labor and rest — their purpose, their balance, and their practice in the Christian life.
