June 2026 Tabletalk

The June 2026 issue of Tabletalk will provide an overview of the early new covenant church. The period of the Apostles through the First Council of Nicaea in AD 325 has ramifications for the church that reverberate to this day. The Apostles laid the foundation of the church through their teaching and preaching and gave us the inerrant Scriptures. After their departure, a new group of leaders emerged who had direct access to the Apostles or were just one or two generations removed from them. Their work exerted a considerable influence on all that followed. Understanding the early church is therefore vital for recognizing where we are today and for learning from both the early church’s successes and its mistakes. This issue of Tabletalk will survey the early church and how it can help us minister faithfully today in our own time.
