The Life of John

John was a man transformed by the love of Jesus Christ. But before he became the Apostle of love, John was known as a “Son of Thunder” for his zeal, which was often misplaced. How did this dramatic change take place, and what can John’s story teach us about our lives as Christians today?

In this teaching series, Dr. Derek Thomas shows how Jesus shaped His beloved disciple into a man who desired above all else to point others to the Savior. As we witness John’s transformation, we’re encouraged to follow the Lord who fashions His followers into people characterized by humility and love.
