Jesus Christ has told us that He is the light of the world, and if we follow Him, we will not walk in darkness. Yet, He has also told us that Christians are the light of the world, for He has redeemed us and caused His light to shine in our hearts, so that we might shine forth in the darkness ourselves.

On September 27–28, 2019, Ligonier Ministries hosted a conference in London. Alistair Begg, Mark Johnston, and Drs. Sinclair Ferguson, Albert Mohler, Burk Parsons, and Michael Reeves considered core truths of the Christian faith and how these essential truths equip believers to shine as lights in a dark world.
